The development will have multiple phases, each with different requirements and therefore different strategies, objectives, and partnership structures. |

Masdar City has identified a number of functions that need to be delivered under the umbrella of sustainability and green building and that will require collaboration with its partners:
- Development
- Project Management
- Construction Management
- Asset Management
- Property Management
- Facilities Management
- Operators (e.g. Hospitality, Retail, Education, Hospitals...)
Furthermore, Masdar City has identified a number of assets that will also require collaboration with its partners:
- Infrastructure and Public Space
- Residential
- Office
- Retail
- Hospitality
- Light Industrial Parks
Buildings will be constructed to Masdar’s leading green building standards to enable Masdar to achieve its vision of being the world’s first entirely sustainable, carbon neutral city.
The City Management function will be responsible for the effective management and operations of the Masdar City Free Zone. It will include functions such urban planning and financing, citizen administration, city governance as well as the provision of social, education and security services.
Masdar is embarking on a global drive to attract industry partners in the field of infrastructure, real estate development and city management to achieve its important objectives. Your expertise will contribute to the development of a blueprint for the cities of the future.
